Awesome analogy Du0. You might as well have written that for me. 6 years ago I have 11 bitcoin. Now? 0. I got seduced by cute girls serving free drinks. Now I have to do it all again, with 75% less money. I got drained, and it hurts.
To not be zero-sum it needs to create added value. In crypto, money rotates and market caps increase via leverage usually. That means those that book profits first and get out at the top leave with the money, the rest are left empty.
thanks for sharing dude

We all got seduced at one point. :)
Keep up the great work bro! Your articles are amazing!
Thanks for the great feedback!
Nice analogy, thank you.
I don't think that crypto is a zero-sum game. When market cap is increasing, then many players can win.
I agree that investing in the next meme coin which results in a rug-pull is a zero-sum game (moving the money from the buyers to the early investors).

Is Ethereum not also one of the more "serious" place in the casino? Would you still refer to Ethereum as an Altcoin? Thanks
It is an altcoin still, but yes it’s one of the few good bets in the space. Sell it all after the bull market is over.
