Great tips! Appreciate hearing the strategy of someone who has "been there, done that" successfully. I didn't buy enough during all the time BTC was sub-$25k because I stopped paying attention/lost interest. That's obviously the time to buy...
What sort of metrics do you use for determining when to scoop up BTC again? Do you rely more on tangible measures (% down from ATH, etc.) or intangible (ex. bearish sentiment)?
The best time to buy BTC is in a bear market, that means after a year or more of bearish price action. Once BTC falls by over 50% from ATH you need to plan your entry. Last bear market a good buy was when the price was -70% from ATH. Next bear market maybe aim for -60%. You should also check momentum indicators on monthly timeframe for added confluence and market sentiment aka "BTC is dead" news articles. Buying then is rarely wrong.
Solid approach.
Thanks Vicki.
